I am 13 years old and today, I got in trouble by a lady to talked to my mother and informed my mom about the fire in the barbeque pit. According to "Erika" the eye witness, i don't have a right to do that. Is there a law saying that your not aloud to make a fire in a barbeque pit?

What is your barbeque pit made out of? In some states, a burn permit is required for burning leaves, burn barrels for certain organic trash, etc. Second question, where is your barbeque pit located? If the barbeque in question is located on private property and doesn’t meet the description of a burn barrel (and is of course used for cooking) I really don’t see any issues.
It is possible that “Erika” was concerned because you are a minor. That’s the most I can think of, though. Hope I’ve helped.
