place individually on tin foil, add butter and garlic with a little lemon squeeze and fold it up tightly, make sure you turn it every 10 minutes or so until done about 45 min
Take your cleaned ear of corn slather it with butter, a bit of salt or other spice you want, add 1 tablspoon of water to the bottom of a foil packet and wrap your corn up good and tight. It will steam in side the packet and should take no more then 20 mins once your Barbies been going for a while and good n hot.. Once your corn is done if you wanna get a bit of char to it remove from foil carefully so you dont get burned and place directly on the grill.
An other way is to leave your corn in the husk and place directly on the grill for 30-40 mins. Some places are gonna get a bit chared but for me personally its yummy anyway. When the corns done roll in butter and spices you want and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1 pinch onion powder
cayenne pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup butter, softened
6 ears corn, husked and cleaned
DIRECTIONS
Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
In a medium bowl, mix together the chili powder, oregano, onion powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Blend in the softened butter. Apply this mixture to each ear of corn, and place each ear onto a piece of aluminum foil big enough to wrap the corn.
Wrap like a burrito, and twist the ends to close.
Place wrapped corn on the preheated grill, and cook 20 to 30 minutes, until tender when poked with a fork.
Turn corn occasionally during cooking.
actually its quite simple,
take the corn and wrap it in aluminum foil with a pad of butter then set it on the top shelf of the bbq. Try to keep an eye on it though as it will burn, also keep it turned, that way it spreads the butter over all of the corn. MMM MMM MMM good.
Good luck with your “barbie”
Soak the corn in water for about twenty minutes before you put it on the grill. Wrapping it tight in Aluminum foil will help it cook faster and more evenly. The water in the leaves steams the corn and adds flavor to it.
If the corn is already husked, then boil it ahead in some water that has some sugar in it. Then grill it to warm it up.
take the husk off the corn
wrap each ear in a very wet papertowel, then in aluminum foil, the water in the papertowel steams the corn to cook it…… this is how we have done it for years!!!
remove husk and strings butter up! maybe put some garlic slices on them then wrap in foil! cook right on coals or if gas grill put on side with out burner on about 1/2 hour! at least!
poke a few holes to allow for steam?
Some guys got the right idea. You soak the corn (in husk) and just add it onto the grill (aluminum speeds up cooking). Perferct steamed corn everytime.
chuck it on in the husk as this protects the cob
butter the corn Reap it foil , put it on the grill with the meat. Enjoy !
