I'm having a barbeque today, and some of my guests said that they don't want they're chicken with any marinade on it.
Won't this make the chicken very dry? What should I do? Respect their wishes or put a marinade on anyway?

just mixed soy sauce and cooking oil together so that it will be dry.
grill in foil pouches the ones that don’t want marinade (add a pat of butter salt and pepper)
I would push it towards the far end of the heat, so it cooks slower
I dont know. I think it will
just par-boil it for 10 min. and put it on the grill…it will turn out fine! you may ask what kind of seasoning they like…and use it..make sure the meat is touching, and turn it a bit more than usual.. it will be fine!!!!
Just brush lightly with olive oil or butter, salt & pepper, grill and offer barbeque sauce on the side.
You can simply boil the chicken (this way you ensure it’s cooked thoroughly) and grill just to give it the smokey taste that grilling provides. There are no rules that state that you always have to add marinades before grilling.
plain grilled chicken is really good as long as you leave the skin on– it will hold the juice in. you can take it off after grilling if it is a health concern. if you sprinkle a little salt and pepper and rub into the skin it helps season it.
I make chicken plain on the bbq because my husband doesnt like marinade. It never really has been dry and I think it tastes good. You should make your guests happy and respect their wishes by not adding marinade. to each his own right? : ) I hope you have a wonderful party! : )
Respect their wishes. brush lightly with oil and a little salt and pepper. You can do it in foil or just straight on the grill, just keep off of direct heat to keep it from drying out.
maybe just use some non stick cook stuff on it-like pam–then it won’t stick–and it will just be grilled–they love that…
You can pre-cook the chicken. Leave the skin on, this will help hold in the juices. Just grill it plain, serve it as they wish.
hi… you can bbq the chicken as is on the grill. You dont need to oil it matinate it… thats the anwer to your question. I do it all the time my son doesnt like the marinated taste.
What you have to remember is that our ancesters didnt mariante the chicken… they didnt go to the local store for BBQ sauce … they roasted it over an open fire..
Every one here has said add this, use oil, use this use that…
you dont need to just slap the darn chiken on the grill. … you wont have any of the nice additives you no the artificail bbq hickory smoked chemical .. on you chicken then too….
