Basically, the higher the BTU the faster you will be able to cook your meats.  If you have a large grilling surface area but not enough BTU&#039;s then you will waste a lot of gas trying to get your food cooked.  And on the other side, if you have too small of a grilling surface with too high of a BTU rating then you will have a hard time not burning your food.</description>
