Since I because a BBQ nut a few years ago, almost every gift from my wife and in-laws has been BBQ related.
Some good things: wood chips, a smoker box for the chips (if he has a gas grill), clip-on BBQ light, special gas valve that tells you home much propane you have left (if he has gas), fire-proof gloves (you can find these in kitchen stores), remote meat thermometer…

Upgrade his current grill if your budget allows. Other than that, you can buy him accessories for his grill:
    - Tool set (tongs, spatula)
    - grill cover
    - meat thermometer
    - kabob set
    - griddle attachment
    - rib rack
    - smoker box
    - grill brushes (for cleaning the racks) and pastry brushes (for brushing on bbq sauce)

If you are planning to have booze then a really good corkscrew is a good idea. The sort you screw in, carry on screwing, which brings out the cork, and then carry on screwing which brings the cork into the screw. It’s not cheap, it’s at John Lewis, but it’s worth every penny.

    Right here.
Hat, Apron, Hand towel all embroidered (not silk screen) and 2 bottles of sauce. A Demon Pig BBQ Team pin is also included but not listed.
Most of the utensil kits are so flimsy the tongs will not pick up a hot dog.
    Check it out.http://www.demonpigbbq.com/bbqclothes.ht…
    Enjoy
